No. At this time we cannot offer storage for any precious metals.

No. At present Canadian PMX only offers pure bullion products which are non-taxable in Canada. Orders placed with Canadian PMX that are billed and shipped to the United States are not taxable at the time of sale, but duties and taxes may be applicable upon importation to the United States. All importation costs for items shipped to the United States are the sole responsibility of the customer and will not be paid or refunded by Canadian PMX.

 

Our online bullion store offers a wide selection of well-recognized bullion coins and bars produced by the Royal Canadian Mint as well as many other world mints and major private refineries. When you conduct a trade with Canadian PMX we are making a good faith commitment to our wholesale network on your behalf. Failure to complete your transaction will result in a minimum $50 non-negotiable penalty being charged to your credit card or account. Furthermore, should the bullion market change from the time of your Order Confirmation to the time your order defaults, further penalties could apply. In the case of a purchase from Canadian PMX, a market decline will result in a penalty being charged equal to the difference between the value detailed in your Order Confirmation and Canadian PMX’s posted ask price of the same products at the time of default. In the event of a market increase, any gain will remain the property of Canadian PMX.In the case of a sale to Canadian PMX, a market increase will result in a penalty being charged equal to the difference between the value detailed in your Order Confirmation and Canadian PMX’s posted buy price for the same products at the time of default. In the event of a market decrease, any gain will remain the property of Canadian PMX.

 

No. Once you have booked a price to sell your precious metals to Canadian PMX you have entered into a binding agreement that cannot be changed. We have made a commitment to our wholesale network on your behalf and failure to complete the transaction will result in penalties being charged to you in accordance with our Market Loss Policy.

 

If we do not receive your items within the allotted period of time your order will be cancelled and penalties will apply as set out in our Market Loss Policy. If your merchandise does arrive we will contact you to make arrangements to return the goods to you or to renegotiate their sale to Canadian PMX.

 

No. Although you will be required to show valid government issued photo identification, you do not need to have an account with Canadian PMX.

 

Yes. We require valid government issued photo identification from any person who sells anything in our store. There are no exceptions to this rule.

 

Yes. You can visit our Richmond Hill, Ontario store during our posted business hours, where one of our full-time trained staff will professionally evaluate your bullion on the spot and make immediate payment by cash or cheque. Sales in excess of $10,000 will require an appointment.

 

Our offers made on your precious metals will be paid in full by cheque. Should you request to be paid by any other method, certain administrative fees will apply as follows: Cash payments in excess of $10,000 will be charged an administrative fee of $10 per $1,000 unless specifically arranged in advance with Canadian PMX. Bank drafts will be charged a flat $45 administrative fee. Domestic wire transfers will be charged a flat $65 administrative fee. International wire transfers will be subject to a variable fee to be determined at the time of payment. If you require an international wire transfer please contact us for details.

 

In-store sales of precious metals are paid immediately by cheque. Payments for phone bookings will be sent immediately by cheque upon receipt and verification of your precious metals at our location. The easiest way to sell your precious metals to Canadian PMX is to visit our Richmond Hill, Ontario store during our posted business hours. Secondly, you can contact us and book your sale with our trading department. With your credit card as verification you can lock your pricing and you have a maximum of five business days to deliver your precious metals to us.

No. We will purchase as little as a single gram of silver at our store in Richmond Hill, Ontario. Our trained, on-staff buyers will be happy to purchase your precious metals in any quantity. If you are unable to visit us in Ontario you can still sell your precious metals to Canadian PMX in two ways. We will lock pricing over the phone for as little as 1 ounce of gold or platinum, or 50 ounces of silver, provided that the minimum weight be made up of either a single item or multiple identical items. Simply call our trading desk and book your sale with our trading department. With your credit card as verification you can lock your pricing and you have a maximum of 5 business days to deliver your precious metals to us. For items that do not meet our minimum requirements for pre-booking, you can send your precious metals to Canadian PMX and we will evaluate your merchandise upon receipt and contact you with our purchase price. All packages sent to Canadian PMX are opened under video surveillance by at least two staff members.

 

Yes. As a bullion exchange we are always purchasing precious metals. Orders can be booked by phone or delivered in person to our Richmond Hill, Ontario store. Some minimums and conditions may apply.

 

Canadian PMX guarantees that all of our bullion products are genuine and of the stated quality advertised. If you feel that any of the items you have received do not meet these standards you have a maximum of three business days from the time you receive your package to call us and express your concerns. Should we find that any items are below our usual standards we will replace or refund the item at our discretion. Merchandise that is in no way defective cannot be refunded or replaced.

 

Yes. We ship to the United States.

 

Fedex overnight service within Canada can take 1 to 2 business days. Shipments to the United States may experience some delays at the border so delivery times are variable, but are typically received within 1 -5 business days.

 

At Canadian PMX we follow stringent security protocols for all of our shipments to comply with our insurance guidelines. To prevent the possibility of unauthorized persons attempting to re-route your package to another destination, we withhold tracking numbers. You are welcome to contact us at any time if you have a question or concern about your shipment.

 

Yes. All shipments from Canadian PMX are fully insured from the moment they leave our facility until they reach you.

 

Excessively heavy orders (65 lbs +) will be broken up into multiple boxes. It may be necessary for extremely large orders to arrange for an armoured delivery service, in which case we will contact you directly to make arrangements for delivery. Additional delivery fees may apply for armoured delivery.

 

Canadian PMX uses Fedex as our preferred shipper for Canadian and US orders. Alternate shipping methods may be arranged at our discretion for orders that fall outside of Fedex guidelines. We will contact you directly if we need to customize your shipping requirements.

 

We take great care at Canadian PMX to ensure that your merchandise arrives at your door in the same condition that it left our facility. Individual coins are contained in protective sleeves and packed securely in padded mailers. Heavier items such as coin tubes or bars are wrapped in protective paper and packaged in sturdy, nondescript boxes to prevent shifting and sliding. All packages leaving Canadian PMX are double boxed with full shipping documentation affixed to both the inner and outer boxes.

 

Once you have received your Pickup Notification we generally allow 10 business days for you to pick up your order. Should you not be able to pick up your order within that time we will contact you to make additional arrangements, including delivery to you at your cost.

 

None whatsoever. Once your original order has been paid and cleared through our system your precious metals are yours to claim at no additional cost. We even offer free parking.

 

Yes. Orders can be picked up free of charge at our Richmond Hill, Ontario location. Select ‘Pickup In-Store’ on the shipping page of the checkout and we will send you a Pickup Notification by e-mail when your order is ready. You will need to bring your Pickup Notification and a piece of valid government issued photo identification in order to receive your merchandise.

 

If we do not receive your payment within the allotted time period your order will be cancelled and penalties will apply, as per our Market Loss Policy.

 

Wire transfers and in-store payments made by cash or debit must be fully completed within 24 hours of your Order Confirmation. All payments sent by mail must be postmarked within 24 hours of your Order Confirmation. Mailed payments must be received within five business days of your Order Confirmation.

Canadian PMX will not release any bullion product without 100% certainty that payment has been rendered in full. Incidences of fraud have made it necessary to add this additional precaution to our payment guidelines.

 

No. It is not possible to verify the nature of a direct deposit appearing in our account, and therefore we cannot accept direct deposit as a form of payment.

 

Currently we accept both Canadian and US currencies as payment.

 

Your valid credit card number is used to both confirm your identity and to provide security for your order. In the event of an order cancellation, any cancellation fees will be charged to the credit card you provided.

 

At Canadian PMX we accept cash, personal cheques, debit cards, bank drafts and wire transfers as payment for precious metals. When visiting our store you can also purchase non-bullion merchandise by credit card.

In-store purchases can be paid by cash or debit for immediate pickup. Otherwise, our standard terms and conditions apply to all orders.

 

When you place an order with Canadian PMX, you have entered into a binding agreement. Regardless of changes to the precious metals market, the prices and quantities detailed in your Order Confirmation are locked. Your purchase is now your investment, the fluctuating value of which is entirely your responsibility. Should you choose to cancel your order, for any reason, you will be subject to our Market Loss Policy plus a $50 non-negotiable cancellation fee.

 

No. When you have received your Order Confirmation by email it means that we have made a commitment to our wholesale network on your behalf and your prices are locked. Once we have sent your Order Confirmation you are required to send your payment according to the timeline detailed in the Order Confirmation.

All online orders will be reviewed and confirmed by email. Your price is considered locked when you have been sent an Order Confirmation. Once you have received your Order Confirmation, no changes can be made to your order.

 

If you are having trouble completing an order with your credit card, it may be due to the

  1. CanadianPMX.com implements 3-D Secure, a security step for all credit card transactions through our website. Credit card issues can occur when the card is not set up for 3-D Secure. To enable this feature up, please call the phone number on the back of your credit card.
