Description
Encouraged by the success of the Gold Maple Leaf, the Royal Canadian Mint introduced Silver Maple Leaf Coins in 1988. The Silver Maple Leaf is one of the most recognized bullion coins worldwide, and is popular among collectors and investors for its quality and intricate design details, showcasing the most widely recognized national symbol of Canada.
The coin is minted with one troy ounce of 9999 fine silver, and was the first silver coin to achieve this purity level. With a face value of $5, the Silver Maple Leaf maintains the highest face value of any comparable silver bullion coin.
Quantities of 25 or more coins will be shipped in mint tubes, and 500 or more in sealed yellow monster box cases.
