Description
The Perth Mint’s Australian Lunar Series II celebrates the Year of the Tiger in 2010, the fourth animal in the 12-year cycle of the Chinese zodiac. Each coin has a fineness of 99.9% pure silver, and is protected in a plastic capsules. The reverse of the coin depicts a Tiger standing on a large rock facing left. The Chinese character for ‘Tiger' and the inscription ‘Year of the Tiger' also appear in the design with The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mint mark.
