The Royal Tudor Beasts bullion collection is a series of ten coins inspired by the Moat Bridge statues at Hampton Court Palace that represent the ancestry of Henry VIII and his third wife Jane Seymour. The first coin in the bullion range features the Lion of England. The Lion of England is one of the oldest and most iconic beasts in heraldry. It first appeared on royal emblems in the twelfth century and has been part of the shield of England for as long as it has existed.
David Lawrence has captured the awe-inspiring Lion on the reverse of the coin with a chainmail surface animation background texture providing additional security. The obverse of the coin features the fifth definitive coinage portrait of Her Majesty The Queen by Jody Clark.
The coins are minted using 9999 pure silver and are sold individually.
