This medal celebrates the 35th anniversary of the original 1989 China Dragon & Phoenix coin. It shows a dragon and phoenix suspended in the air with auspicious clouds swirling around them. The obverse design features a reproduction of China’s iconic Temple of Heaven located in Beijing. Each Silver Dragon & Phoenix 35th Anniversary Medal was struck by China’s New Century Mint in 20 ounces of highly pure 99.9% fine silver and measures 80 mm in diameter.
