Description
These 2017 Britannia silver coins are struck to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Silver Britannia. Struck in .999 fine silver and with a face value of 2 British Pounds. This version of the silver Britannia features a chariot design from the 1997 coin and includes a unique rim with "1997 - 2017" etched on the side. The inscriptions, ‘Britannia’ ‘1 oz .999 fine silver 2017’ read around the edges on the face of the coin. The obverse of the coin will have the effigy of her majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
