Description
The Perth Mint’s Australian Lunar Series II celebrates the Year of the Snake in 2013, the sixth animal in the 12-year cycle of the Chinese zodiac. Each coin has a fineness of 99.9% pure silver, and is protected in a plastic capsules.
The reverse of each coin depicts a representation of a snake curled around a tree branch. The Chinese character for ‘snake’ and the inscription "Year of the Snake" also appear in the design with The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark.
The unique aesthetic of this silver bullion coins makes it a favourite of both collectors and investors.
