These beautiful Art Nouveau 5 oz 'Mucha' silver rounds are minted in Canada using .9999 fine silver and refined in a proof collector quality finish by Argentia Precious Metals. Designed by artist Alphonse Mucha, these 5 oz silver rounds feature a Byzantine art inspired design of a woman, which is seen in profile against an ornate background of vegetal arabesques. She appears to have highly ornate jewellery in her hair which is evocative of a Byzantine design. Long strands of hair are draped beyond the circular frames. The exquisite pattern surrounding the circular frames simulates lacework, another decorative element familiar in Moravian craftwork.

Each silver round has been struck with its weight of ‘5 Troy Ounces’ and ‘.9999 Fine Silver’ listed on the obverse. Sold individually in hard plastic capsules to protect the finish and beauty of these incredible silver pieces of art.
