Description
This .999 Silver coin is the first release of the Queen’s Virtues series, featuring “Victory".
The reverse side has Queen Elizabeth II as designed by Raphael Maklouf in 1985. Here she is shown wearing the George IV State Diadem Crown. To the left her image is ‘$1 ST. HELENA.’ This is the face value of the coin and is backed by the authority of St. Helena. Above the queen is ‘QUEEN ELIZABETH II’. Under the image is ‘ ONE OUNCE .999 SILVER’.
The Obverse features Victory, modeled after the Winged Angel at the top of Victoria Memorial. Along the upper left are the words, “Victory through Harmony”.
