Description
The Perth Mint presents this incredible Australian Kangaroo 2 oz Gold Proof Pink Diamond Edition featuring a stunning pink diamond from Argyle Pink Diamond mine. This coin has achieved a grade of PR-69 Ultra Cameo by NGC (One of first 75 struck) and has a limited mintage of only 300 struck!
The reverse of the coin shows the classic Australian icon, the red kangaroo surrounded by rays of sunlight with a pink diamond embeded on the Kangaroos forepaw. The words, "AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO" are inscribed on the coin, as well as The Perth Mint’s "P" mintmark and the year of the coin are also included in the design. The obverse features Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the denomination of 500 AUD. This coin is issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act of 1965.
This coin has a limited mintage of only 300 coins struck!
